The work life is no longer linear – it is multi-phased and more complex

We have so far structured our work life as if the career follows a single, straight path. But reality is different. People’s life phases play a new role in the work life, and today’s employees expect the workplace to accommodate the whole person. There is no longer the same clear boundary between one’s private life and work life. This demands knowledge, insight and understanding of the phases of the work life and the new opportunities that arise with them.

I help organizations understand, manage, and structure multi-phase work lives – from young people’s entry into the labor market, through stages such as career transitions, restarts, breaks, family life, and lifelong learning, to late career and retirement.
